Careveltt

I'm gonna do something slightly different today, I kinda made two poems, don't ask me why, I guess I felt "deep" enough, -.- well, they're all free verse so don't concentrate on the rhyming so much, enjoy and leave some comments...

This first one is called "Portia Layne"

Portia Layne

Portia layne,
How heavenly your name sounds,
Just like my skin against the grain,

Your skin is Clear, pale as the Ale,
You set upon the table,
As you tell your fables,
To the children that live near,

Though you are young,
And your beauty tenfold,
Somehow, the more the proposals of wealthy men,
The more you never got old,

You kept your heart in a rusted silver chest,
Noting “I’d rather not the Misery be let out”
I want it fresh, I want it Strong,
To be let loose with my next siren song.
I use my beauty, I use my voice,
To lure them childishly,
Before I turn them into Salad Nicoise.

Eye of bat,
Tongue of dog,
I’ll assure you I’ll have none of that,
I only use Brain Of Hog,
To strengthen My Bone china,
So as to be able to break those of poor Carolina,
Who had not sinned, as far as we know,
But had flaunted to every man, all she had to show,

Her Namesake dictates,
She be elegant and pretty,
But as true as that may be,
Shes also Brittle,

For Portia Layne, was always sad,
She could not Love herself,
What more a lad?

and this is the second one, Dear Pitiful Bride

Dear pitiful bride,
I heard the news, the milliner said,
your husband fell and lost his head,
such a pity,
A pity indeed,
A love so fine,
dead, just like the blind mice three,

Dear sorrowful bride,
you remind me of a little miss muffet,
who sat on a tuffet,
mourning her mister's death,
Along came a spider,
who crawled up behind her,
And and robbed her of her one last breath,

Dear Mournful bride,
lainie lainie quite contrary,
How do your tears flow?
With acid burns and puke it churns,
revenge from the dead corpses you own,

Dear horrified bride,
See-saw Portia we call,
Johnny shall have a new master,
he decomposes a little and little by day,
Because he can't rot any faster,

We know your husbands dead and all,
but maybe you deserve this fall,
for all the hearts you've broken bruised,
would it help if this poem instead amused?

And finally the third one, An Ode To Romance

An Ode To Romance

Your eyes,
the stars will envy,
your stare,
with tears lie heavy,
your rose tinted lips,
will lay the very last kiss,
on a lost love's pitiful casket,
and I will be there to take it's place,

the words,
they twist,
they turn,
they burn,
like the pain we feel when were apart,
like the burning light thats in our hearts

The cost I pay,
For the love I lay,
No summer nor winter could ever repay,
from what I hoped to be a sonnet,
an ode to love is penned,
to you my love,
my heart,
my soul,
Is ever yours,
just forever promise me,
you'll never walk out those doors..

Actually, all three of those poems are supposed to be connected, But I wanna see if any of you out there can figure out the relationship between the two ;)
just leave your answer in the comments. You might get a prize if your right :)

I won't risk it by attempting to guess. But they were well written. (:

I need a clue, Zack. It's way too complicated, besides, I did not master in English literature. Haha.
